From January 17, discover the new 'the 'TalkTalk Korea 2021' exhibition at the Korean Cultural Center in Brussels. 

The global Hallyu content contest <TalkTalk Korea 2021> was hosted by the Korean Culture and Information Service (KOCIS) and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. The participants, who are from 170 countries, expressed their love for Korean culture by creating original content about Hallyu, the Korean Wave.

In this exhibition, you can enjoy over 140 out of 42,110 submitted works such as videos that were submitted in the categories <K-pop music video>, <Hanbok photo shoot/ video>, <Contemporary Gugak>, <Korea talent show challenge>, and <Masked singer challenge>. Also divers images from the categories <traditional culture illustration>, <Korea snap >, and <Designing emojis with Kocis character> will be on display.  

EVENT The first 33 visitors of this exhibition will be able to win an exclusive gift by sharing a photo of their visit on their personal social media. 

How to participate: 

1. Take a picture of you attending the exhibition 'TalkTalk Korea 2021'.

An exhibition showing hanbok By bringing "Dopo", which is one of the series used in the famous Korean series, "Oksadopo" which is a summer outfit and “Sangsho-do-po costumes”, winter costumes are on display.

The dopo dress looks like an outer garment worn by the male aristocracy since the Joseon period. There is a slit at the hem of the skirt and a hem on the back covering the slit at the hem.

The beauty of the dopo set on display with a video background 💫

You can visit the Hanbok exhibition free of charge at the Korean Cultural Center.

Hanbok Costume Exhibition <Our Life> Information

The Cultural Center has been holding the <Our Life> exhibition since December 13th. The <Our Life> exhibition, held in collaboration with the Korea Crafts and Design Culture Promotion Agency, is designed so that you can experience the beauty of hanbok and the culture of traditional life through actual application and multimedia images. The Dopo is an outer garment worn by men in the royal family during the Joseon Dynasty. The shape of fluttering in the wind is the style and characteristic of the coat that distinguishes it from other jackets. In addition, you can feel the elegance of hanbok vividly through interviews with costume director Lee Jin-hee in historical dramas 'Moonlight Drawn by Clouds', 'Sungkyunkwan Scandal', and the movie 'Basin', as well as videos of the main characters in popular dramas and movies. You can visit without a reservation, so please visit us a lot.
