2022 Quiz on Korea - รอบคัดเลือกภาคเหนือ

The Korean platform will provide opportunities for people with Korean language abilities and knowledge of everything related to Korea.

- North qualifying round

Korean language quiz competition activity held on Monday, April 4, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at the King Rama IX Hall of Philosophy, Chiang Rai Rajabhat University.

Qualifications of competitors

• Age 18 years and over/ No gender limit
• Ability to listen, speak, read and write Korean
• Are non-Korean nationals and their family members do not have Korean nationality
• A person who has never been to the finals of Quiz on Korea before

The winner of the Northern Round 1 will receive a plane ticket to compete in Thailand in Bangkok during June

The winner of the Thailand round must travel to the Republic of Korea. (around August, duration 7-8 days) and represent Thailand in the competition on September 4, 2022, at KBS television station

The winner of the final competition will receive prize money and a certificate from the Minister of Foreign Affairs Republic of Korea

The 2022 'Quiz on Korea' qualifiers in northern Thailand will be held. An exhibition showing hanbok By bringing "Dopo", which is one of the series used in the famous Korean series, "Oksadopo" which is a summer outfit and “Sangsho-do-po costumes”, winter costumes are on display.

The dopo dress looks like an outer garment worn by the male aristocracy since the Joseon period. There is a slit at the hem of the skirt and a hem on the back covering the slit at the hem.

You can visit the Hanbok exhibition free of charge at the Korean Cultural Center.

Hanbok Costume Exhibition <Our Life> Information

The Cultural Center has been holding the <Our Life> exhibition since December 13th. The <Our Life> exhibition, held in collaboration with the Korea Crafts and Design Culture Promotion Agency, is designed so that you can experience the beauty of hanbok and the culture of traditional life through actual application and multimedia images. The Dopo is an outer garment worn by men in the royal family during the Joseon Dynasty. The shape of fluttering in the wind is the style and characteristic of the coat that distinguishes it from other jackets. In addition, you can feel the elegance of hanbok vividly through interviews with costume director Lee Jin-hee in historical dramas 'Moonlight Drawn by Clouds', 'Sungkyunkwan Scandal', and the movie 'Basin', as well as videos of the main characters in popular dramas and movies.
